St. Louis - The Arch |
We had one day to visit St. Louis after the wedding so we brought along 2 other wedding guests, Gail & Bruce, who also had wanted to go up in the St. Louis Arch. It was an interesting experience, for sure; we had to ride these little egg-shaped metal "elevators" with seats up a rickety-sounding well, to the top of the arch. Once there, we had to lean over to look out through the narrow windows at the view. What a spectacular view! Bruce & Gail were a lot of fun, and it wa san experience not to be forgotten! |

..but I was feeling queasy, and we hadn't even left the ground yet! |

Inside of that "egg", the ride was a bit claustrophobic.... |

...but worth it once we got there! |

Michael took the opportunity to snap off a few shots.. |
