This is the first mannequin that I have ever sold, so bear with me. I have checked out the other mannequins on Ebay, and saw some really beautiful human replicas out there. One guy in South America sells the most gorgeous, realistic, beautiful mannequins, of every size & sex. It's enough to give us "real" folks a complex! Most of the mannequins made on Ebay are of a fiberglass construction, vastly superior to the older models, with more detail, are lighterweight yet strong, etc. The descriptions of some of the other mannequins say: "Beautiful large breasts", "Well-built", etc. (which sounds just a bit kinky to me, if you know what I mean). O.k., that's enough of selling the other guy's items! I found Shirley in a warehouse that was being cleaned out (one of my other jobs). I call her "Shirley", because she didn't say that wasn't her name when I asked her. Shirley has a beautiful Grecian profile, a classic look, but has also been through some tough times. First off, she has no legs, as she is a torso mannequin for window diplay. Shirley's arms and hands also come off, for storage (I was carrying her out to the car without her arms, and told the onlookers not to worry, she's "armless")But Shirley also can take a stand (well, we all should take a stand occassionally), because she has a hole at the bottom....uh, is it o.k. if I mention this, Shirley? Sorry to get personal. But anyway, the hole at the bottom takes a stand, and there is a knob to tighten the stand, should you wish to add one. Shirley has some metal construction in her, and plaster. I think but am not sure that parts of her are a hard plastic as well? Shirley was made in the 1980s or so. I only sumise this by her chic hairdo....which is pretty hard, she really laid on the hairspray, I must say. Shirley has drawn-on features, I guess because someone was so unnerved by her having no color to her eyes or lips, that they drew on features with what looks like a crayon. Shirley also has a few dings on her, most of which can be fixed with a good paint job, maybe a little plaster-work here & there. Shirley's measurements are 18" from the nape of the neck to her waist, 32 bust, 25 waist, and....oh yeah..no hips. Hmmm...you know...looking at her....Shirley might not even be a "She", know what I'm saying? She looks a little like a transvestite. The part of her to make that determination definitive is not there. Oh sorry, Shirley. She could be anything, really. But check her out - she has a real 'tude, like: "Don't mess with me!" In fact, she looks as though she has been through a few bar brawls. Shirley was great to have around when I put a hat and coat on her and put her in the front seat of the car for the carpool lane...uh...but I digress.
Shirley is kinda heavy, well, we all can get that way when we age. She would be a lot heavier if she had legs of course, but I'm putting the postage calculator on for this gal(packed she weighs 23 pounds - request whether you prefer USPS or UPS service). Check it out if you want to have Shirley for your own.
